We hope this email finds you all doing well. I am extremely proud of all of you and the tremendous job you do. We are excited to announce that we have decided to improve our unions communications and have a series of new communication tools planned. The first is this email we are calling The BLOODLiNE. We will be sending this email to the membership with upcoming events, reports on the charity work we do with reminders of upcoming meetings and social outings.
Soon we will start to send out occasional blast text messages. When we launch our new and improved website scheduled for July 2014, we will have the technology in place to blast out quick text messages that will keep you in the loop on what's going on with our union. Our new website will have a photo gallery, high resolution graphic banner images, a video gallery, social networking sharing options and buttons, RSS news feeds, newsletter submission forms, upcoming events listings, recent news updates, and an easy to use navigation menu bar. We are also developing the site to be mobile friendly so all the important information that you need will be on display with ease on your smartphones and tablets. With this, we are developing a shortcut like mobile app for you tech junkies out there.
In the meantime, make sure you get your fellow 601 members who did not receive this email to contact us with their personal email and cell number to 601office@comcast.net.
