In 2018, the Supreme Court will hear one of the most important cases ever, Janus v. AFSCME. This case will challenge a unions right to collect fair share dues. When Trump was elected, he put Neil Gorsuch on the court. Gorsuch will now serve as the deciding vote and is expected to rule against unions. This court decision is meant to weaken our ability to negotiate contracts and advocate on your behalf. Please enjoy your holiday, but know that in 2018 this will be a major fight.
