UWUA National and Local Women's Committee members from Local 601 along with Co-Chair Ursula Grant Local 1-2 attended the NJ AFL-CIO 17th Annual (WILD) Women in Leadership Training Conference. Opening comments by Laurel Brennan (Secretary-Treasurer), We Were There! There was a moving multimedia performance of the women's labor movement.
Guest Speaker Janet Gerhard spoke about managing stress, and the workshops on Cultural Change: Addressing Unwanted Behaviors in Our Movement. The event was empowering!
