Nominations for the office of President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and three Executive Trustees will be accepted from the floor at a separate nominations meeting. The date, time, and place are indicated below:

Any member in good standing is eligible for office, unless excluded by Local 601 Bylaws, the National Constitution, or by federal or state laws. Candidates can self-nominate or have a Local 601 member in good standing nominate them. Candidates must accept nominations at the nominations meeting or, if not in attendance, submit written acceptance for one office to Secretary Jessica Francis-Wright, jessicaybe2@aol.com or 973-941-7968, by September 24, 2025 (244 South Charles Street, Hopelawn, NJ).
The election will be conducted via mail ballots. Ballots will be mailed on or about September 30, 2025. Members who do not receive a ballot by October 7, 2025 may request a replacement ballot to be sent to them by contacting Nicole Glonek of the New Jersey State Board of Mediation either by email (nicole.glonek@dol.ni.gov) or by phone (609) 575-8639. The ballots will be counted and tallied Monday, October 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at the Local 601 office, 244 South Charles Street, Hopelawn, NJ 08861.
