Our members are under attack from a bill (S3467) that was introduced in the Senate Environment and Energy committee. This bill is being pushed by a company called Direct Energy and it is sponsored by Senator Bob Smith who is the chair of that committee.
I along with Charlie Wowkanech (President of the NJ-AFL-CIO) have placed calls. We are trying to destroy this anti worker anti health bill before it gathers any legs.
